Please Note: Logwood Bike Haven has closed permanently and all Joburg riding now takes place at the Toyota MTN Cycle Park in Bryanston. This page has been left in situ partially out of a nostalgia thing (it was South Africa's first Bike Park) and partially as information for those considering what can be acheived on a very small piece of land. This part of the riding experience is just a matter of finding the payment option that suits your riding pattern. Credit Card facilities are available for your convenience

 

Single Visit             R50  from the 1st February 2002 

If you’ve never been to Logwood Bike Haven before then this would be your best first visit option to check the place out. This option is also suitable for the rider who only climbs onto his Mountainbike once or twice a month.

This is for the rider who has been to Logwood Bike Haven and has enjoyed his ride enough to guarantee the need for more purpose built Single Track!

 

 

This method of entry gives you access to “Off Peak” rates for the seriously committed riders who come to ride before work (sometimes during…meetings… you know) and after work; as well as the weekends.

 

The 10 Unit card has an expiry 3months from date of Purchase, 20 Unit Card has an expiry of 6mths from date of purchase, and the 40 Unit card has a 12mth expiry from date of purchase, regardless of the usage. It’s a case of use it or lose it. The Off Peak Card is not valid weekends or Public Holidays, but is valid 2 years from date of purchase.

 

Holders of Multi Unit Cards and Annual Plates can also buy Visitors Cards for R200 that allow you to bring family and friends with you for the same rates as normal Multi Unit Cards.

When you purchase a multi unit card you are logged into the computer at reception and your photograph and indemnity are recorded permanently. No more signing in!

Units are deducted from your card each visit.

Visitors Card:

This works exactly the same way as Multi Unit Card and comes in 20 Unit and 40 Unit denominations at the same rates as the stanadard cards. Where it starts to become different is that these cards are only available for sale to those who already hold 20 Unit Cards, 40 Unit Cards or Annual Plates themselves. Purchase of these special Cards allows the primary card holder to bring guests with them to Logwood Bike Haven to share their riding pleasure. Great for family members who only come sometimes and friends from out of town.

Each Guest will need to sign an indemnity form each visit.

Annual Plate:              Paid in Full                 R.1500
                                    

For the truly dedicated rider this is the “no-brainer” option where each visit becomes as little as R4 plus change… even on weekends and public holidays!!!

 

Mountainbike Club Members

 

If you are a member of a Mountainbike Club, we are pleased to offer you a 10% discount on whatever access option that you choose.

All you need to do is get your Club Chairperson to EMAIL Geoff the Aussie  at geoff@cultcycling.co.za , and we will set up the process from that point, which really only involves getting your Club to produce a Club Membership Card with photo (which is standard in most well run Clubs anyhow).

 

Club  Mugg & Bean SuperCycling Mountainbike & Toyota Cycle Lab Club

 

Members of Club Mugg & Bean Mountainbike & Toyota Cycle Lab Club have a prearranged 20% discount at all Cult Cycling Bike Havens. You need to be wearing current Club Kit, and carrying your membership Card to be elligable. Just speak to Richard Beswick or Alison Mclean to grab your card (should be in your start up kit) if you haven’t already.
